Have you heard of Google Summer of Code? There is something similar;

MLH Fellowship, It is a 12-week, fully remote educational program where participants (Fellows) collaborate in small groups called "Pods." Unlike a typical internship where you might work on internal company tools, MLH Fellows often contribute to major Open Source projects.

The three tracks that will be available to you:

Software Engineering:
Focuses on contributing to massive open-source codebases. You’ll learn how to navigate complex code and submit high-quality Pull Requests.

Production Engineering (SRE):
This track focuses on keeping systems reliable and scalable. You’ll dive into DevOps, CI/CD, and Linux fundamentals.

Web3 Engineering:
Deep dive into blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized platforms (e.g., Solana).

Some Benefits:

--> Educational Stipend (Participants receive a stipend, amounts vary by region, up to $5,000).

--> Expert Mentorship

--> Global Community

--> Career Training

Are you planning to apply, or have you already been through the program? I’d love to hear your experiences. 🙌
